All My Pics

Since I've acquired several pictures of my breast cancer journey, I thought I'd compile them on one site. A lot of these photos have been posted on my blog "kathyjean", but there are many that may be considered "adult content", as I didn't quite know what to do with that pesky nipple on my breast. And I felt it was important to show how it was healing. So, "view at your own risk"...

About Me

My photo
kathy jean
I am a 52 year old woman who has been having shoulder problems for about 1 year. Pain, stiffness, then it seemed all at once I couldn't raise my left arm. I don't recall any injury; and have been seeking treatment since October 2006. I have had a manipulation under general anesthesia, but still am unable to bring my arm around to my back, or to the opposite front pocket. Now, November 2007, I have been diagnosed with breast cancer--infiltrating ductal carcinoma, grade II, and ductal carcinoma in situ, noncomedo type, nuclear grade II with associated calcifications. The largest focus of carcinoma measures 1.2 cm. This is my journey.
